We inspire the world to learn, communicate, and advance faster than ever.Role Overview: We are seeking an enterprising and strategically minded Business Development Contractor to join our Core Data Center Business Unit in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role demands a deep understanding of the data center business, technological expertise in datacenter architecture, AI, and memory/storage technologies, and the ability to develop Micron’s presence to cater to new business opportunities in the Middle East region.Key Responsibilities Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue and market share goals within the data center market.Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and strategic partnerships for Micron’s memory and storage portfolio.Build and manage relationships with top local data center players and their ecosystem, including executives, in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other key regions.Scope and establish Micron's regional presence by collaborating with various stakeholders.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer engineering, product management, engineering, and marketing, to align business objectives.Drive the adoption of Micron’s solutions within regional data centers, sovereign AI initiatives, and global partnerships influenced by regional sovereign funds.Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to inform business strategy and provide insights to senior management.Regularly update senior management on business development activities, performance, and market insights.Qualifications and Education A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is required; an advanced degree (MBA/ MS) is preferred.10 years+ experience in business development within the technology or data center industry is preferred.Proven track record of success in strategic customer engagement, market growth, and ecosystem development.Strong network and established relationships with key data center players, OEMs, and ecosystem partners in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.Understanding data center architecture, AI, and memory/storage technologies.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Fluency in the Arabic language is a plus.Preferred Qualifications Experience working with regional sovereign funds and understanding their unique needs and challenges.Knowledge of the data center market in the Middle East and a deep understanding of regional dynamics.Travel Requirements30% + travel will be required.Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Job function Business Development Industries Semiconductor Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Micron Technology by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Business Development Manager” roles.Management Trainee Program (Business Manager)Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates 3 weeks ago Management Trainee Program (Product Manager)Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates 3 weeks ago We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
