Job Purpose: About the role We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a resultsdriven individual to join our team as the Vice President of IT Product Delivery Group Services. In this pivotal role you will be responsible for overseeing the timely and costeffective delivery of IT products and solutions ensuring operational excellence across various business departments. You will also contribute to the development of IT business strategies for a large group of business departments aligning them with the overall IT strategy of the Emirates Group while keeping future growth and technological innovation in mind. Your key responsibilities will include building and managing strong relationships with business stakeholders creating an effective and consistent IT customer experience that meets business needs. You will play a crucial role in driving substantial improvements in business performance and customer service. This position demands strong leadership skills and a commitment to enhancing IT capabilities in line with business objectives. In this role you will: Establish an appropriate and costeffective 35 years technology strategy in line with the Emirates Group IT StrategyIntegrate IT strategy into the defined business area to ensure full exploitation and alignment for the Groups best interest.Manage the complexity resulting from delivering solutions for a wide breadth of strategic revenuegenerating operationally critical business units within the Emirates Group. Develop and maintain highly effective credible and influential relationships with senior stakeholders enabling reuse optimisation and groupwide initiatives to be discussed and implemented when appropriate. Represent IT in the senior management team of the business area and influence senior business managers on strategic business IT investment decisions to meet their business needs within a Group perspective.Deliver technology solutions to the business and lead a crossfunctional IT delivery capability consisting of demand management technical product management agile delivery software engineering and systems integration and service management. Ensure optimal performance scalability and security of the infrastructure (while staying updated with technological advancements).Promote close collaboration and integration with all other IT departments. Drive a culture of customer intimacy through a business orientation framework and provide input in areas of partner and supplier management risk management service management software engineering and operations IT strategy and architecture. Introduce measures to monitor satisfaction levels and drive improvement across IT. Ensure satisfaction levels are communicated throughout IT and are part of targeting objectives.Lead the delivery of the business IT annual work programme Accountable for the financial management of the IT budgets for the business area ensuring it aligns with and supports business strategy based on customer needs. Negotiate and agree on the annual work program with senior business stakeholders ensuring it remains in line with the overall IT strategy. Ensure costeffective business cases and optimal resource allocation.Identify business performance focus areas strategic themes and Portfoliolevel EPICS. Use Lean Portfolio Management to identify new IT initiatives in order to drive value creation (e.g. revenue generation and optimisation). Ensure facilitation of the evaluation implementation and benefits realisation that will delivery significant change and have a substantial impact on these critical business processes. Qualifications & Experience: This job might be for you if you have: Degree of Honours (123 or equivalent).12 years of Experience in Information Technology or similar.Experience leading functions at a senior level in IT ideally within a customer relations environment.Experience leading the delivery of business IT solutions ideally in the travel and transportation industry is an advantage.Major account experience gained in both multinational and multicultural environments would be an added benefit.Youll have an edge if you have: Business/technical strategy and planning.Business change management.Relationship management.Ability to develop an understanding of the business at a deep level.
