Role: Project Engineer
Location: Dubai
Contract Duration: 12 months, renewable -Long term contract

Required Information:

University degree in Electrical/Computer or Software Engineering
PMP Certified.
Master's degree is an advantage.
Min. 5-8 years related work experience
Excellent command of written & spoken English; Arabic and French are an asset.
Experience in Automation and Protection Systems in Utilities and/or Oil & Gas Protection and Control Relays / Schemes,
Substation Automation Systems EPMS/BMS solution projects PLC, SCADA, RTU & DCS - Advantage)
Advanced user of MS Office applications, especially proficiency in MS project
Good user of SAP

Job Description:

Coordinate internal as well as external resources for the proper execution of projects.
Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget as per the contract conditions
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all concerned stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Follow up & manage contract negotiations in cooperation with contract management & sales teams
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Prepare project financial reports and present to management
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Drive new opportunities & Variation orders during project execution
Create and maintain project documentation
Maintain good relations with the customer & company staff and to provide their satisfaction while protecting Company rights as per contract and as per long term commitment for customer satisfaction
To utilize company's monitoring tools to follow-up and monitor projects
Effective communications skills
Well organized, result oriented, pro-active & a good team player
Driving License - is mandatory
Strong motivation and interest in learning new technologies, working on projects and travelling on the frequent business trips to customers inside UAE and outside UAE .
