In this role, you'll be responsible for executing Governance & Compliance activities, in order to ensure and deliver on the section's mandate and identify improvement opportunities that will contribute to the delivery of short and mid-term strategic objectives within set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures.You will be responsible Develop and execute a STA-wide governance and compliance program, assessing the current compliance position, identifying weaknesses, and implementing stronger controls and policies.Develop and implement a governance and compliance framework, embedding methodologies, tools, and techniques in business processes and systems to mitigate potential risks and threats.Conduct governance and compliance research and benchmarking analysis to identify relevant practices and standards to adopt.Periodically review and update compliance and adherence to governance and compliance strategies and frameworks.Develop and ensure adherence to relevant corporate governance charters, including charters for data, cybersecurity, and IT governance.Maintain a proper governance and compliance culture within STA, guiding and supporting the development and maintenance of internal operational policies, and conducting periodic checks to monitor adherence to internal policies and external laws and regulations.Perform other activities as and when required.You will need: Bachelor's degree in relevant field is preferredAt least 10 years of experience in relevant fieldWe are a Saudi government entity that aims to hire & build top talent in the Tourism industry.
