Overview

This is to source one (1) Production Director I to handle the following roles and responsibilities:

- Provides technical direction for the production of assigned video and/or audio projects using creative and interpretive skills.

- Storyboard concepts, creates and edits written scripts, plan shot lists, scenes and appropriate questions for interviewees, employees and all levels of company management.

- Leads production meetings with proponents and contributors suggesting content and treatments based on objectives. Requests and manages production sign-off with proponents, management and SA Public Relations Department where necessary.

- Edits video to a high standard including mastering to various High Definition formats for Mac or PC use, DVD authoring and/or distribution through network folders.

- Originates and manipulates graphics using appropriate, video related software applications.

Key Responsibilities

1 Provides day-to-day technical work direction to assigned film/video crew. Crews may include contract personnel.

2 Participates in assignment briefings concerning the overall planning, scheduling and sensitivities of the assigned production.

3 Instructs assigned crew on matters such as production details, sequences, technical/aesthetic aspects, lights, graphics, or equipment required to develop the best possible production.

4 Forecasts and requests logistic support/materials for production work to ensure timely and effective project completion. monitors to assure technicians have proper equipment and materials on hand to avoid loss time. % 5 Writes and / or interprets script; plans, directs and integrates all audio and video elements of the assigned film/video/audio program.

6 Performs the activities of subordinate staff to demonstrate technique, instruct new personnel or provide technical assistance during scheduled production

7 Determines filming and lighting requirements and supervises entire camera operations. Provides advice on all aspects related to camera operations

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Media Production

Minimum 10 Years of Experience in TV/film production with accredited professional production organization.

A good theoretical background and practical knowledge of the systems, performance capabilities, equipment operating capability. Good understanding of Middle Eastern (specifically the Saudi Arabian) customs, values and traditions. Knowledge of pertinent Saudi Arab Government Laws and Regulations affecting production activities. Language Skills
