We are one of the most profitable companies in the world, as well as amongst the top five global companies by market capitalization.Job PurposeConsults with and advises management in one of the major areas of the Finance organization such as: accountingand financial reporting, asset valuation, global tax oversight, VAT, financial modelling, investment analysisand finance systems or auditing. Provides financial expertise to support Finance organization, JVs andsubsidiaries. Identifies, analyzes and recommends solutions to major financial/accounting/auditing/systemsissues. Work product prepared by the incumbents will often serve to directly advise senior management withinthe Finance Business Line.ResponsibilitiesDUTY1 / effort % (015)Formulates solutions, alternatives and recommendations, and providescentral direction andcontrol over complex theoretical and practical accounting, financialsystems, internalcontrol, or other matters not covered by standard practice or precedent.DUTY2 / effort % (015)Identifies major challenges in all areas of accounting and financialreporting, assetvaluation, global tax oversight, VAT, financial modelling, investmentanalysis and financesystems or auditing. Provides Management with alternatives andrecommended solutions.DUTY3 / effort % (015)Analyzes the effect of proposed changes in basic corporate policy,government agreementsand laws, and provides recommendations thereto.DUTY4 / effort % (010)Coordinates with public accountants in their financial audit of SaudiAramco, and in thepreparation of the consolidated financial statements and relatedschedules for issuance tothe SAG, the Board of Directors, and the Ministry of Energy Affairs.DUTY5 / effort % (010)Initiates response and takes appropriate action on public accountants'observationsconcerning internal, application, or system controls, accountingprocedures, or othermatters reported to Management.DUTY6 / effort % (010)Often serves as the senior representative from the Finance Business Lineand occasionallyas the leader on multi-functional task forces or teams.
