Job Summary To examine patient to diagnose bone, joint, ligament, or other musculoskeletal problems, including diseases, or injuries. Collaborating with other consultant, when necessary, to determine a course of treatment. Job Responsibilities 1 Performing surgical procedures on various parts of the musculoskeletal system, including plating broken bones, reattaching tendons and ligaments or performing joint or hip replacements, among other procedures. Recording patient care by maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests, and/or treatments prescribed, and test results. Prescribing medication to improve recovery and control pain after surgical procedures. Referring patients to physical therapy, when necessary, or performing non-invasive procedures such as pain management and Joint injection. Monitoring ongoing progress and health of patients, and changing treatment plans, as necessary. Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care. Job Responsibilities 2 Ensure all confidential patients record are properly maintained. Maintaining patient diagnostic reports in electronic format. Appropriate usage of patient consent form. Patient counseling communicating the service cost prior to charging. Patients have the right toconcise, complete, and easily understood information about their diagnosis and treatment options, side-effects, complications and any undesirable effects and an interpreter can be provided when needed. Follow international standards journals such as Lancet / Up to Date and conduct ethical medical practice. Assures quality and safe practices for patients and staff by enforcing policies, procedures, standards, rules, and legal regulations; participating in case reviews, and remaining available for emergency consultations. Skills Job Knowledge & Skills • Valid and in a good standing medical license to practice in country of residence.Provides high quality care to patients in this area of medicine.Communication skills to explain complex medical information, procedures, answer questions to patients and their families.High proficiency in the procedure as per the Core and advanced QCHP privileges for Orthopedic surgery.Technical skills to perform procedures and analyze data.Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness.Compassionate and empathetic.Supervise staff/assistant physicians and residents The ability to work well alone and within a team.Excellent management, organization, and time management skill.Fluent in English and Arabic.Strong problem-solving skills. • ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
