Title ENVIRONMENT ANALYST (CHEM & WM)

Primary Purpose of Job

To coordinate/cooperate with other concerned departments to achieve the compliance of Qatar Environmental Laws & Regulations, Operating Permit, QP HSE Policy, Standard and Procedures. To give necessary technical support & advice on all matters related to Environmental Compliance on existing Gas Operations facilities and ongoing Projects.

Education

- B.Sc. in Environmental Science or Chemical Engineering related area of study. Post graduation in Environmental Science is preferred. - Knowledge of appropriate national and international environmental laws and standards applicable to oil and gas industries, including the ability to interpret them. - Knowledge and expertise using original and innovative professional approaches and techniques to solve environmental issues relating to oil & gas developmental projects. - Proven experience in environmental management system and audit. More than 8 years of professional experience in environmental compliance, EMS environmental and projects support with a minimum 5 years worked as on environmental engineer/ specialist position in oil & gas industries. Knowledge of oil & gas industry is highly desirable.

Experience & Skills

- Writing specifications and prepare mandated reports. - Ability to communicate well orally and in writing. - Performing field inspections, review & prepare proposals and administer contracts. - Working effectively with various technical teams and to be flexible in work assignments. - Investigation skills, analytical data interpretation and compilation skills - Computer knowledge ,and Presentation skills - Inter-personal and negotiation skills - Leadership, problem solving and motivational skills.
