Venture Development Lead will work alongside technical teams to build, test, create and nurture sustainable businesses that will disrupt markets and create greatest value. Our ventures will deliver strategic advantage to Saudi Aramco and generate long-standing impact in the market. You will be joining a team of world-class leaders, technology visionaries and innovators, and take a lead role in turning Saudi Aramco intellectual assets and technologies into new ventures.Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will:Identify and evaluate innovations for venturing viability and readinessAsses and validate the product-market fit and quantify business valueDevelop business models, business plans and financial models for the new ventureStructure commercial agreements and facilitate the execution of new venturesProvide mentorship in venture development and entrepreneurshipDesign and facilitate co-creation opportunities with multi-disciplinary teamsDevelop pitch decks for investment decision makingPerform third party due diligence to minimize business risks (e.g. transactions, licensing etc.)Establish key performance indicators for venture outcomes and long-term valueMinimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering discipline. Business degree (MBA) is preferable.At least 10 years of experience in technology commercialization having a lead role in startup, spin out or intra-or entrepreneurial positions. Essential experience includes:Proven track record in discovering, validating and scaling new ideas in a deep tech environmentWell-versed in startup methodologies, venture development process and financing optionsProduct development, from concept to delivery of new products and servicesDevelopment of value propositions including business models and financial modelsBusiness development, partnership management and project managementAgreement negotiations, preferably involving technology licenses, Joint Venture or joint technology development agreementsSupporting the development and growth of early-stage technology companiesExperience in early stage ventures, Venture Capital firms or incubators/accelerators is preferableSkills should include some (or preferably all) of the following:Self-starter, demonstrates high degree of ownership and a track record of outstanding performance.Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate complex conceptsOrganized with the ability to manage projects effectively Strong interpersonal, networking, influencing and facilitation skillsOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of commercial acumenAbility to innovate, think laterally and lead multi-disciplinary teamsAware of the technology and market trends to support venturing choicesDriven by the entrepreneurial spirit and the innovation possibilities of early-stage venturesA good understanding of the oil and gas industry is a plusWorking environment Our high-performing employees are drawn by the challenging and rewarding professional, technical and industrial opportunities we offer, and are remunerated accordingly.
