JOB TITLE Jewelry Designer JOB GRADE  Â  JOB LOCATION Kingdom of Saudi Arabia DIVISION / DEPARTMENT CDU  Â  POSITION DETAILS JOB PURPOSE The ideal candidate will have a passion for jewelry design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to conceptualize and develop unique pieces. From sketching initial designs to selecting materials and overseeing production, the Jewelry Designer will play a key role in bringing our jewelry collections to life. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Jewelry Designer

  • Design and develop innovative and marketable jewelry collections that align with brand aesthetics and target demographics.
  • Customize Designs as per VIP Clients' request.
  • Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and conceptualize new ideas, taking inspiration from trends, culture, and art.
  • Create detailed sketches and renderings of jewelry designs, considering factors such as materials, dimensions, and manufacturing processes.
  • Source and select materials, including gemstones, metals, and other components, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to prototype and produce jewelry pieces, providing guidance and feedback throughout the production process.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Participate in product presentations and meetings, communicating design concepts and providing input on product development strategies.
  • Maintain organized records of design files, material samples, and production documentation.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create promotional materials and support product launches.
  • Stay updated on advancements in jewelry design techniques, technology, and sustainability practices.  Â 
 Â  MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • High School or Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
  • Proven 10 years experience as a Jewelry Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing original designs and technical proficiency.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, 3D Max, Matrix and 3D Printing.
  • Proficiency in additional design software or techniques, such as 3D modeling or hand rendering.
  • Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes, including casting, soldering, stone setting, and finishing techniques.
  • Strong understanding of jewelry market trends, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with luxury or high-end jewelry brands.
  • Knowledge of sustainable and ethical sourcing practices in the jewelry industry.
  • Arabic & English Language Proficiency
Qualification
  • Certified: 3D Design Skills Proficiency, Matrix and 3D Printing
  • Should be able to Hand Sketch
  • English Language Proficiency
  • 7 Years working experience as Jewelry Designer
Work Environment
  • The Jewelry Designer will primarily work in a studio or office environment, collaborating with team members and suppliers. Occasional travel may be required to attend trade shows, supplier meetings, or production facilities.
