Job details

Adheres to policies, guidelines,plans and programs.Performs all dutiesassigned to a consultant physician.Assumesdirect responsibility for the patients under his/her medicalattendance in the assigned unit.Conductsrounds and undertakes supervision of treatment of the inpatients aswell as screening and examination of theoutpatients.Undertakes supervisoryresponsibility for the medical staff within the unit and preparesregular reports on the activities of the unit for the departmenthead / chairman.Participates in the variouscommittees for the upgrading of services and organization of workwithin and outside the hospital.Participatesin the planning and implementation of the department developmentplans and the different manpower training programs for the medical,technical and nursing staff.Participates inthe planning and follow up of the medical education and researchactivities.Performs all relevant interventionsrelated to his/her field ofspecialization.
