Job Description:
Subject matter expert to support various Carbonate geological field development activities focused on gas field development.
Design, execute and/or supervise special studies to reduce sub-surface uncertainties
Provide Carbonate Sedimentology and Carbamate sequence stratigraphy inputs for the team.
Integrate Carbonate Facies Classification, Diagenesis, Geomechanics and structural geology concepts for sweet spot mapping, well planning and perforation decisions
Provide technical expertise in design/update and executing the Field Development Plans including appraisal of new opportunities.
Support geological modeling work, preferably with good hands on skill, and actively work with Reservoir Engineering discipline to execute Integrated Reservoir Modelling workflows.
Work closely, as an integrated team member with at least 30% of hands on work, with a multi-disciplinary team environment (including IOC team members).
Required Degree:
Advance graduate level degree (minimum Masters level) in Geology, preferably with a PhD
Minimum 20 years of Oil Industry experience of which at least 10 years with one of the International Oil Companies and/or large reputed National Oil Company (excluding service companies, consultancies etc.).
Track record of working in multiple organizations, preferably in multiple geological settings will be an added advantage.
