Title SR. BUSINESS CONTINUITY OFFICER (Corporate HSEQ)

Primary Purpose of Job To develop and coordinate QatarEnergy' s core business departments business continuity planning to ensure timely and effective response to a disruption, and to resume, recover and restore the delivery of products and services consistent with QatarEnergy business continuity objectives. The business continuity planning is one element of the business continuity management system (which includes crisis management, emergency preparedness & response and IT disaster response), and cross-functional interaction will be critical as any business disruption will be expensive and need to be minimized. Interaction and engagement with all levels within Core Business areas, from senior management to junior staff and processes of an integrated oil & gas company (upstream, including LNG, mid & downstream, chemical/petrochemical). Consideration of the impact on business continuity of multiple, diverse activities and topics both within QatarEnergy (e.g. HSE, production, maintenance, human capital,procurements, contracts, finance, projects etc.) and externally (e.g. national and international laws, international standards, professional practices, risk trends etc.). React to continuously changing priorities in the business and tight deadlines. BCM requires considerable interpretation and adaption of best practices within the context of managing core business processes and assets.

Education -Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science or Business Continuity / Management. Certification from international institutions is required.

Experience & Skills Minimum of 10 years of oil and gas ,chemical / petrochemical industry experience in various roles, of which at least 5 years should be in Business Continuity Management components. Certification from international institutions is required. - Proven experience in corporate governance, risk management and/or business continuity management. - Proven ability to multi-task under the pressure of tight deadlines and senior management exposure. -Proven ability in analytical thinking, computer modelling skills, economic analysis and team working. -Understand performance drivers, inherent risks and potential business disruption scenarios. -Excellent presentation and report writing skills in English language. -Proficiency in the variety of Microsoft Office applications.
