Title MECHANICAL ENGINEER (OFFSITE)
Primary Purpose of Job
To supervise, & direct the maintenance, repair, trouble shooting, and execution of modification activities of all the mechanical equipment installed at the assigned QatarEnergy Refinery operational areas/units during normal plant operation as well as during unplanned emergency shutdowns.
Education
• B.SC. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience & Skills
• Minimum 5 years of experience for non-nationals in Refinery/oil & Gas /petrochemical industry in the installation, commissioning, maintenance & repair of major rotating/stationary equipment. • Possess good knowledge of English & manages a multinational working atmosphere, supervises 15-25 personnel depending on the assigned jobs. • Required to have a higher level of computer literacy that includes knowledge of RIS, SAP, IMS etc.
