FinancialAccountability: Responsible for maximizing revenuein all businessenvironments.Conditions ofWork: Normal administrative office and hotel workingconditions.Role OverviewPurpose: To maximize Hotel revenue by identifyingand accurately recording guest needs and special requests, andconducting continues trainings for Reservations' team.Aiming to ensure guest satisfaction achieves the minimum requiredstandard of 90%satisfaction.Summary OfResponsibilitiesTo supervise and ensure the smoothand efficient daily operation of the reservations operation,ensuring everyone contacting the Reservations Department receivesan optimum level of services and care at alltimes.To ensure restaurant reservationsoperation is smoothTo ensure that the rateinformation in the PMS is accurate and current at alltimes.To review and update the roomavailability calendar in the PMS and restaurant reservationssystem.To carry out regular spot checks withinthe department to ensure that the standards outlined in the SOP arebeing adhered to.To check if the SOPs areupdated on a regular basis, make changes whenever necessary andkeep updated hardcopies available for all teammembers.To control availability andmaintaining of rates for GDS system.To prepareand maintain yield calendar and distribute to relevant departmentswithin hotel.To monitor overflow telephonecalls to Reservations Office, incoming telephone traffic andbusiness trend, and prepare work schedule for Reservations staff toensure optimum coverage of the Reservations at alltimes.To ensure that staff working hours arerecorded accurately and in accordance with hotel policies andprocedures.To ensure LQA and Forbes standardsare met at all times.To carry out regularappraisals for all Reservations Staff by utilizing properformats.To arrange, co-ordinate and chairweekly departmental briefings and monthly meetings wheneverpossible.
