We are hiring a Document Control Specialist to join us in our Atlanta, GA office. About Us AtkinsRéalis is one of the world’s most respected design, engineering and project management consultancies. How will you contribute to the team?

  • Manage the flow of correspondence in and out of the company through proper transmittals; ensure outgoing documents are accurate, comply with company standards and policies, route correspondence to correct associates; and protect and secure confidential and proprietary information.
  • Reviews and verifies project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements.
  • Submits project documentation to management team for approval and transmits approved documents to customer. Distributes documentation to the project team and customers for review and comments.
  • Manage Governance independently as per applicable standards and procedures.
  • Owner of Master Document List (MDL/MDR) consisting of all project related documents.
  • Responsible for the development, implementation, training, and auditing of all controlled
  • documentation: drawings, procedures, reports, and any other document under revision control.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Rivian specific internal document control strategy, along with Program Controls, Management, IT teams.
  • Develop, implement and maintain the external document control strategy, along with Construction manager, AEOR and other stakeholder.
  • Develop clear and concise logging and annotation standards.
  • Ensure standards and quality control systems are implemented.
  • Stay connected with the Program Standards and Prototypes, Building Infrastructure Design, and Design Technology teams to ensure standards are reflective of the latest initiatives.
  • Monitor the distribution and reconciliation of process or reference documents.
  • Provide adequate training and support to enable team members to successfully understand and utilize standards and procedures.
  • Create guidelines related to quality control and management processes.
  • Work closely with our external consultant partners to ensure standards are implemented and documentation deliverables meet our contracted expectations.
  • Maintain a log identifying consultant performance to determine long term partnerships.
  • Perform initial audits on all projects starting with Production.
  • Provide recommendations to the Design Technology team for process enhancements to existing or new software ensuring continuous elevation of best practices.
What will you contribute?
  • Min. 5+ years of experience in the Construction Industry.
  • Well versed with the utilization of computers and information systems.
  • BS in Engineering, Business, Construction Management or Similar Field if preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge of construction and design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, ACC, BIM360, Kahua.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams.
  • Attention to detail and ability to foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Passion for the Construction Industry and can-do attitude.

Expected compensation range is between $105,000 - $145,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
