Principal Accountabilities (Key Performance Areas)
• Be a partner for retail sales team, supply chain, marketing and finance to achieve targeted sales and delivery performance.
• Responsible for inventory management for assigned products in all retail storage locations.
• Plan, forecast and release of purchasing orders to ensure targeted product availability at optimum inventory levels.
• Ensure all promotions and introduction of new products are planned effectively.
• Ensure slow moving items are reduced to a minimum in all retail branches.
• Manage any stock shortage ensuring appropriate action is taken to resolve with minimum cost and maximum attention to customer service.
• Manage open customer orders until goods are delivered.
• Ensure agreed special project targets are met on time
Core Competencies & Skills (Technical & Behavioral)
• Technical or business degree.
• Broad commercial and logistics experience (2-4 years).
• Analytical thinking and the ability to draw conclusions from reports/data
• Thorough knowledge of company products.
• Impressive record of achieving KPI's.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize a variety of tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient with ERP including purchasing and inventory modules.
• Strong knowledge of PC and software applications including MS Office.
