dnata Airport Operations has a dedicated Project Management Office that has a diverse team who focus on enhancing the dnata Airport Operations performance by managing complex and critical projects across the business units. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about contributing to the future success of dnata Airport Operations. As a Project Specialist, your role will vary depending on the nature of the activity and will include supporting and/or managing projects. In this role, you will:

  1. Manage several business and/or technology projects across dnata Airport Operations in compliance with best practices and latest standards defined by departmental and corporate PMO guidelines.
  2. Support senior leaders in delivering projects and other initiatives aligned to organisational goals and strategy.
  3. Effectively and proactively manage key internal and external stakeholders, driving confidence and transparency, facilitating regular updates and discussions on the impact of the projects on their respective businesses.
  4. Ensure project delivery within agreed scope, costs and timeline.
  5. Plan and forecast project budgets, support business units to finalise business cases and monitor budget spent and benefits realisation throughout project implementation.
  6. Assess the impact of change, risks and interdependencies and develop tailored project plans, approaches and aligning these with the respective stakeholders' expectations.
  7. Identify, support and deliver business process improvement opportunities and facilitate subsequent change management activities.
  8. Act as an SME to help drive solutions to problems as well as support, coach and develop others across the business. Areas of expertise might include, but not limited to, Project Management, Lean 6 sigma, operational excellence, technology.

Qualifications & Experience To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
  1. Minimum 6 years experience in project management, business improvement or productivity, management consultancy, or technology.
  2. Degree in quantitative discipline such as business administration / IT / engineering / economics / sciences (preferred).
  3. Certification in CAPM and/or PMP and/or PRINCE 2 Practitioner preferred.
  4. Certification in Lean and/or Six Sigma a plus.
You'll have an edge if you have:
  1. Ability to quickly grasp new business concepts, understand organizational issues and challenges and understand dependencies across businesses.
  2. Strong ability to facilitate dialogue and influence a range of stakeholders, including senior executives.
  3. Experience in Administration / General administration.
  4. Advanced planning and organizing skills.
  5. Advanced communication skills.
  6. Advanced data collection and analysis skills.
  7. Proficient Budget, business case and cost control knowledge.
  8. Proficient writing skills.
