As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to: GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the GCC region. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and clients in the hospitality industry. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and key accounts in the GCC market. Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns tailored to the GCC audience. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences in the region. Coordinate and participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the hotel and generate leads. Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the senior management team. Train and mentor sales staff, providing guidance on effective sales techniques and customer relationship management. Develop and execute sales strategies to secure government contracts and partnerships. Government Identify and pursue opportunities for the hotel to provide accommodations and services to government entities. Build and maintain relationships with government officials, procurement officers, and decision-makers. Stay informed about government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to ensure that all contracts and agreements meet government standards. Prepare and submit bids, proposals, and tender documents in response to government requests. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the hotel meets all government requirements and specifications. Monitor and report on government procurement trends and upcoming opportunities. Provide regular updates on government sales activities to senior management. Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field. Proven experience as a sales Manager & government sale in the hospitality industry, with a focus on the GCC market. In-depth knowledge of the GCC hospitality and travel industry, including key players and market dynamics. Knowledge of government procurement processes and regulations. Strong networking skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools. Willingness to travel within the GCC region as needed.
