A Bit AboutUsA leading Manufacturingcompany seeks a Fleet Manager for their growingteam!Whyjoinus?CompetitiveCompensationBonusEligibleHealth benefitspackage401KMatchGenerousPTOCollaborativeEnvironmentTremendous GrowthOpportunitiesJobDetailsThis job opportunityrequires 80%travelResponsibilitiesOversee the entire fleet operations,including the management of vehicles andequipment.Develop and implement effectivestrategies to improve fleet operations andefficiency.Responsible for mechanicT&D (Training & Development) plans, progress andadherence, inclusive of in person training, in partnership withindividual branchesResponsible for regionaldowntime analysis and understanding the data to determine trendsand reduce overall downtimeDrive cost savingswhen choosing to do external repairsAnalyzedata and develop reports on fleet performance, identifying trendsand areas for improvement.Manage fleetmanagement systems, ensuring they are up-to-date and accuratelyreflect fleet operations.Assists withdevelopment of capital budget as well as maintaining budgetdiscipline and analysis of actual fleet needs vs.wantsCollaborate with mechanics and other teammembers to ensure the fleet is maintained to highstandards.Develop and monitor key performanceindicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure fleetperformance.Implement cost-saving initiativesand strategies to improve fleet efficiency andprofitability.Monitor and drive adherence tothe proper use of Fleet tools and systems, including DOTcomplianceQualificationsA minimum of 5+ years of experiencein fleet managementMust have at least someexperiences with DOT (Department of Transportation)requirementsMust have an activedriver's licenseKnowledge of vehiclemaintenance and repair is aplus INT
