Job SummaryOur partner schools is seeking a Head of Music. The school delivers the English national curriculum & is located within Doha, Qatar.Candidate Profile• Committed to inspiring and motivating staff & students through the highest expectations• A team player with excellent subject knowledge• 2 years of experience as a Head of Music• British Curriculum experience• A strong communicator wanting the best for each student• A passionate teacher, enthusiastic and optimistic in your approach• Having a secure knowledge of the subject they are teaching• Oversee, plan and teach well-structured lessons which are documented and reflect school schemes of work• Strengthening the school community• Effective deployment of staff• Undertaking pastoral duties• Participate in meetings at school, which relate to the curriculum for the school or the administration or organisation of the school, including pastoral arrangements• Attend parents meetings and be appropriately prepared to discuss student achievement and well-being• Participate in arrangements for further training and professional development as a middle leader.• Contribute to the school Development Plan• Develop a strategic plan for the development of the music department• Teaching & Learning• Leading & Managing staffDesired Candidate ProfileEducation:Any Graduation()Gender:nmNationality:Any Nationality
