Job Summary We are seeking a Maintenance Planner, with industrial background and experience in planning, estimating and scheduling maintenance work, to join one of our refining facilities. Your primary role will include planning, monitoring and controlling progress according to the defined measurement criteria and work breakdown structure. You will work to assist in producing reports consisting of progress curves illustrating the current developments, describing the outcomes and forecasting future tasks, and shall coordinate with planning and scheduling functions. Responsibilities: Opening/initiating internal orders, notifications, and maintenance work-orders using SAP. Planning activities along with required resources for maintenance tasks. Coordinating with relevant parties to order necessary materials. Tracking and monitoring all maintenance activities in the designated area. Planning equipment isolation and safety precautions, estimating craft man-hour requirements for job steps. Creating weekly and daily schedules by considering backlog and aligning with operation priorities. Ensuring availability of required resources before scheduling work and obtaining necessary approvals. Updating maintenance order statuses and following up until orders are completed. Monitoring daily progress of maintenance activities and providing feedback to supervisors and execution teams. Updating maintenance history and technical completion details for all work orders before closing them. Ensuring availability of materials, manpower, and services on-site. Processing the return of support equipment and machines after use (e.g., crane, forklift, air compressor). Maintaining regular contact and coordination with various parties including Operations Foremen, Maintenance Supervisors, and personnel to clarify work scopes, resource requirements, status updates, and future plans. Developing detailed plans for job steps, including proper execution sequence, craft man-hour estimates, and crew size requirements for each step. Requirements: This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Minimum of 11 years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years focused on maintenance job planning. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Proficiency in identifying materials, services, equipment, and special preparations needed for maintenance tasks. Must possess strong knowledge of SAP, specifically SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and MM (Materials Management) modules.
