We are one of the most profitable companies in the world, as well as amongst the top five global companies by market capitalization.OverviewSaudi Aramco is seeking for a Mechanical Engineers (Gas Turbine) with hands on experience to work in Mechanical Services Shops Department (MSSD) / HIT & Contractor Operations Division with experience in leading power generation companies (GE, Siemens, MHI, BH) and high proficiency in maintenance and operation of gas and steam turbines (heavy duty) to work in Dhahran Shops. MSSD has state-of-the-art workshops and facilities that are driven by our most valuable asset, which is the department's skilled and experienced workforce. Its primary responsibility is to maintain Saudi Aramco's rotating and stationary equipment. The department plays a vital role in the company as it provides support to all field organizations by maintaining and repairing corporate equipment. Once qualified for the position you will be at the heart of one of the most advanced energy companies around the globe.Duties and ResponsibilitiesYou will be required to perform the following: Provide consultation in all aspects of normal and emergency plant maintenance procedures and standards. Provide technical support to maintenance and machine shop daily operation. Support installation, maintenance and repair of rotating equipment. Troubleshoot, repair, modify existing equipment and Identify cost reductions & process improvements. Introduce the latest technology in repair methodology. Ability to design engineering packages. Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to Junior Engineers. Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings. Participate in standards value engineering.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of five years' hands on experience in Mechanical field. Candidate must have the following field experience requirements: Candidate shall have strong background in the investigation of turbine malfunctions and incidents, turbine outages planning and execution, and field projects/activities management. Incumbent should know different turbine component repair processes and key quality control steps in addition to ability to identify spare parts required for turbines, generators, and their auxiliaries maintenance. Experience in the mechanical design, troubleshooting and major repair of oil and gas rotating equipment such as Gas and Steam turbine. Experience in manufacturing with OEM (original equipment manufacturing) facility such as, GE, Siemens, MHI, BH. Excellent English reading and writing.
