Overview:The ITNetwork Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining theorganizations network infrastructure in Qatar. They are responsiblefor ensuring the stability integrity and efficient operation of thenetwork systems as well as for providing technical support andguidance to end users. The IT Network Specialist will collaboratewith the IT team to deliver reliable and secure networkconnectivity across the organization ensuring seamlesscommunication and data transfer.KeyResponsibilities:Designingimplementing and managing network infrastructure andconnectivity.Configuring and maintainingnetwork equipment including routers switches andfirewalls.Monitoring network performance andtroubleshooting issues to ensure high availability andreliability.Implementing and managing networksecurity protocols and solutions.Collaboratingwith crossfunctional teams to define and execute networkinfrastructure projects.Providing technicalsupport to end users for network connectivity and relatedissues.Conducting regular network assessmentsand making recommendations forimprovements.Participating in the planning andexecution of networkrelated disaster recovery and backupprocedures.Managing network documentation andensuring accuracy and completeness.Stayingupdated with industry trends and best practices in networktechnologies.RequiredQualifications:Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield.Professional certification in networking(e.g. CCNA CCNP) is preferred.Provenexperience in designing implementing and maintaining networkinfrastructure.Expertise in network securityprinciples and best practices.Proficiency inconfiguring and troubleshooting Cisco networkingequipment.Handson experience in firewallmanagement and configuration.Strongunderstanding of LAN/WAN technologies andprotocols.Ability to collaborate effectivelywith crossfunctional teams.Excellentproblemsolving and decisionmakingskills.Effective communication andinterpersonal abilities.networksecurity,troubleshooting,cisco networking,firewallmanagement
