Use major global energy companyexperience and proven ability to drive globalconsistency.Possess deep financial managementskills and overall business acumen.Strongunderstanding of financial accounting principles, preferably underIFRS.Analytical mindset, process-oriented,organized and structured approach toproblem-solving.Excellent interpersonal skillsand interest in building an effective internalnetwork.Excellent command of oral and writtenEnglish and Arabic.Implement Tax Policy andprotocols for tax compliance and tax accounting mattersglobally.Represent the Controller'sDivision and the Senior Vice President of Finance, Strategy andDevelopment in tax-related matters.Overseeincome tax compliance globally, including exercising key qualitycontrols, and is the global process owner for income tax accountingand tax compliance, including direct and indirecttaxes.Define, document, and implementoperating procedures globally and maintain effective controls overtax accounting and tax compliance.SupportManagement in making decisions on complex and technical taxmatters.Perform the role of a subject matterexpert on accounting for income taxes and reporting disclosuresrelated to income taxes.Identify tax issueswith respect to tax compliance and income tax accounting, provideadvice and identify solutions.Liaise withsubsidiary and joint venture finance and tax staff as well asservice providers and interact regularly with the TaxCounsel.Ensure the accuracy of the tax figuresand estimates included within planning, financial reporting,mergers & acquisitions analysis, and financial models fortransactions and business investments.Performfunctions common to a GTC&R Specialistrole.
