Lead a biomedical research team todevelop and implement OMICS molecular biology tools and to supportrunning research activities at BRC.Supportfaculty and students through participating in educational programstraining students and postdoctoralfellows.Participate in the design andexecution of collaborative research studies in biomedical researchfield.Promote collaborative andinterdisciplinary research in areas of priority for the Center(Stem cell research, Metabolic and infectiousdiseases).Develop and support researchcollaborations and networks linking the Center with the public andprivate sectors at the national, regional and internationallevels.Foster academic and interdisciplinaryresearch links with the relevant departments and centers at theUniversity through a variety of mechanisms including trainingworkshops, research seminars, input into the curriculum, mentorshipopportunities for graduate and undergraduatestudents.Promote and communicate the work ofthe Center to the public through a variety of community outreachactivities, including workshops, lectures publications,etc.
