JobRole: AdvisorHSEExperience:3 yearsProjectDuration: 6MonthsLocation:Qatar(Onsite)DescriptionExternalKeyRoles &Responsibilities: Direct monitoring of operational activitiesassuring compliance in accordance with established Safe Systems ofWork and quality standards Provideinformation to applicable worksite staff to assist them to adhereto the zero harm management strategies consistent with site/projectneeds and in accordance with Milaha HSSEQ Management Systems Support worksite staff and supervision incomplying with established HSSEQ plans Risk Registers Safe WorkMethod Statements Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments (HIRA)Job Safety Analysis etc. providing subject matter input whererequired Conduct daily weekly and monthlycompliance inspections and audits of operational activities tomeasure performance and compliance with regulatory provisions(Legal Contractual Industry Standards Procedural etc.) Conduct field observations and inspectionsof prestart work methods statements authority to work permits highrisk work process documentation to assure fitnessforpurpose (riskidentification and control) and that worksite staff are familiarwith and complying to listed methodologies Participate in incident investigations track corrective andpreventive actions to completion and lessons learned arecommunicated Facilitate HSSEQ training as required at a local sitelevel; including Site Management Supervision employees andcontractors Utilise processes and tools formeasurement management and improvement of HSSEQ performance Perform other jobrelated duties asassignedDecisionMaking Authority:Responsible for making riskbased decisions on residual risk levelto as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP) upon implementation ofrecommended control measures Has authorityto provide advice and recommendations with regards to correctiveand preventative actions to contractors within assigned operationalunitQualificationsExternal:Education& Professional Qualification: 3year Full Time Degree(NonTrade) NEBOSH IGC HSE Certificate orhigher Train the Trainer certification ispreferred Root Cause Analysis certificationis preferred Permit to Work certificationis preferred First Aid certification ispreferredProfessionalExperience: 3 5 years ofrelevant experience of which 2 years as HSE professional in heavyindustryGeographicExperience: N/A ComputerComputerSkills: Good knowledge ofOffice and web applications; Advanced MSExcel and PowerPoint skills.LanguageSkills: Fluent spoken andwritten EnglishMarket/Industry/FunctionalKnowledge: Proven success inthe implementation of an effective safety process culture in amultinational environment where perceptions of safety and risk varyconsiderablypermitto work certification,root cause analysis certification,safetyprocess culture,powerpoint skills,office and web applications,msexcel,nebosh igc hse certificate,quality, health, safety, andenvironment (qhse),first aid certification,train the trainercertification,hseq,contractors
