Job Responsibilities:

  1. Drive completed motor vehicle, as vehicle comes from assembly line, on proving ground under simulated road conditions, and observes performance to detect mechanical structural defects and simulate actual driving conditions.
  2. Examine vehicle before road testing for making sure that equipment, like electrical wiring, hydraulic lines and fan belts, are installed as specified and verifies that vehicle has been serviced with oil, gas and water.
  3. Evaluate and document the condition of vehicles, including body, interior, and mechanical components.
  4. Listen for rattles excessive mechanical noise, and moves controls to test functioning of equipment, like horn, heater, wipers, and power windows.
  5. Prepare detailed quality reports that include findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  6. Keep up to date with industry trends and changes in regulations and standards.
  7. Attend training sessions and workshops to improve technical knowledge and skills.
  8. Carry out daily quality control testing, assist the relevant team members with hands-on technical assistance and advice.
  9. Minimize comebacks by conducting periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
  10. Deliver ad-hoc tasks assigned by Workshop Manager.
Your profile Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering. Experience:
  1. The candidate should already have practical experience of an appropriate period in the motor industry.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English - verbal and written, Arabic will be an advantage.
  3. Experience as a Technician in the past.
  4. Strong team player.
