Roles and ResponsibilitiesCommunications Manager (Temporary Contract - 5 months) to support several high-profile strategic projects from Q4 2024 through Q1 2025. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering impactful communications for a range of key company milestones, campaigns, and events. This position is ideal for a dynamic communications professional with excellent writing skills, and experience in corporate communications, event support, and campaign execution. The candidate must be organized with a keen attention to detail. The role is based 5 days a week in the office, and candidates must be available to start from October. Roles and Responsibilities: Support on the communications execution of key campaigns, including content creation, managing approvals, liaison with verticals for content, and campaign management of communications agency for related tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing and Digital) to ensure timely delivery of campaign components. Draft and edit high-quality written content, including press releases, internal communications, and social media posts, including LinkedIn and X. Propose tactical activations to leverage existing content on different formats/channels, such as content for social media, video news releases (VNR), and Dubai Holding's website. Oversee the issuance of announcements to local media, providing media relations counsel as needed. Compile coverage wrap-up reports as required. Core Competencies: Excellent English writing skills: Ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content across various platforms. Project management: Proven experience managing 360° campaigns, including overseeing timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Stakeholder management: Strong ability to engage with multiple teams and external partners to deliver impactful results. Attention to detail: Ensures accuracy in written content, campaign execution, and project documentation. Who we are looking for: 4-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related field. Bachelor's Degree. Experience in managing integrated campaigns, preferably in a large corporate environment. Strong track record of delivering communications strategies for events or milestone projects. Working knowledge of the local media landscape in Dubai, including influencers, would be advantageous. Behavioural Competencies: Excellent communication skills. Strong team and individual player. Must have excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a can-do attitude. Writing and Editing: Strong writing and editing skills for creating clear, engaging content across various channels, including press releases, newsletters, and social media. Media Relations: Experience in building and maintaining relationships with journalists and media outlets to secure positive coverage and manage press inquiries. Crisis Communication: Proficiency in developing crisis communication plans and effectively managing communication during challenging situations. Brand Management: Understanding of brand positioning and the ability to maintain brand consistency across all communication materials. Digital Communication: Familiarity with digital marketing and communication tools, including social media platforms, email marketing, and content management systems. Audience Analysis: Skills in analyzing and understanding target audiences to tailor messaging and communication tactics effectively. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely execution and adherence to deadlines. Team Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills to guide communication teams and collaborate across departments. Analytics and Reporting: Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies and make data-driven decisions. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners. Adaptability: Ability to adapt communication strategies based on feedback and changing circumstances.
