The Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate API Integration Developer to join our dynamic team. Based at our Dubai office this role is ideal for a developer who thrives on problem-solving, loves working with cutting-edge technologies, and has a deep understanding of APIs, webhooks, and CRM systems.

What you'll be doing

  1. Design, Develop and Implement APIs: Develop and maintain API connections between CRM systems and third-party platforms.
  2. Webhooks Management: Create, configure, and manage webhooks for real-time communication between platforms.
  3. Integrate CRMs with External Platforms: Build and manage integrations between CRM systems and external tools (e.g. marketing automation, sales platforms, and customer support tools).
  4. Troubleshoot and Debug: Diagnose and resolve issues related to API integrations and data flows between systems.
  5. Maintain API Documentation: Ensure that all integration and webhook-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
  6. Monitor System Performance: Monitor the health of integrations ensuring that they run smoothly and are scalable.
  7. Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work with product managers, developers, and customer success teams to ensure seamless integrations.
  8. Ensure Security Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices for API and webhook integrations to protect sensitive data.
  9. Stay Updated on API/CRM Trends: Keep up to date with the latest API technologies, CRM systems, and best practices in webhook development.

Requirements

Are you the person we are looking for?
  1. Fluent English (verbal and written).
  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  3. Relevant certifications in API management or CRM platforms (preferred but not required).
  4. Proven experience with API design and development (REST, SOAP, GraphQL).
  5. Strong understanding of webhooks and real-time communication protocols.
  6. Expertise in working with popular CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.) and integrating them with third-party platforms.
  7. Proficiency in multiple programming languages commonly used for API integration (e.g. JavaScript, Python, PHP, Ruby, C#).
  8. Experience with OAuth, JWT, and API security protocols.
  9. Strong understanding of API testing and monitoring tools.
  10. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
