We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee compliance activities and ensure our operations meet all legal regulatory and internal standards. This role is critical in identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks, preventing breaches, and addressing any violations that may arise.

  1. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies across all areas of operation, particularly in the water and power industries.
  2. Implement and monitor compliance programs, regularly reviewing policies and ensuring adherence to environmental health, safety, and corporate governance laws.
  3. Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to address them.
  4. Collaborate with department heads to support compliance-related activities and provide training on compliance standards and protocols.
  5. Investigate potential compliance breaches, manage violation cases, and provide corrective actions.
  6. Stay current on regulatory changes and update policies and practices as necessary.
  7. Prepare compliance reports for senior management and maintain detailed records to support transparency and regulatory adherence.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience :
    • 8-12 years of experience in compliance, legal, or risk management roles.
    • 4-6 years of specific experience in compliance, ideally within the water and power industries.
  • Certifications : Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) are highly advantageous.
  • Skills :
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in risk management.
    • In-depth knowledge of compliance regulations and legal requirements in the water and power sectors, including environmental health and safety, and corporate governance laws.
    • Competency with compliance software, audit tools, and office applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, etc.).
