Arabic Typist (Female)
Job details
The Arabic Typist is responsible for accurately typing and translating documents from English to Arabic and vice versa. They transcribe audio recordings and translate written materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to language and formatting standards. The Arabic Typist supports various departments by effectively managing documentation and delivering timely translations to meet business needs. Responsibilities
- Type and translate documents from Arabic to English and English to Arabic.
- Transcribe audio recordings in Arabic and prepare written transcripts.
- Ensure accurate translation, maintaining language and formatting standards.
- Proofread translated materials to identify and correct errors.
- Work closely with other translators and departments to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage translation projects and prioritize assignments based on urgency.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents and information.
- Create and update translation glossaries and reference materials.
- Conduct research to ensure accurate translation of technical terms and industry-specific terminology.
- Stay updated with language usage, grammar, and relevant cultural references.
- Fluent in Arabic and English languages.
- Excellent typing skills in both Arabic and English.
- Proficient in translation software and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good knowledge of cultural nuances and language usage.
