IT Field Technician

Job Title: IT Technician
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Provide technical assistance and training to end-users.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment and systems.
- Replace or repair defective components and hardware.
- Ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest patches and updates.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of network equipment such as routers, switches, and access points.
- Monitor network performance and address connectivity issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed and issues encountered.
- Document solutions and create user guides and support documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their technical needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects.
- Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Education: Any degree or diploma
- Experience: Previous experience in a technical support or IT field technician role.
- Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Windows, Mac OS, and Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications are preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry computer equipment. Valid UAE drivers license and reliable transportation for on-site visits & delivery.
Working Conditions:
- Regular travel to client sites.
- Possible weekend or evening work to perform maintenance or respond to emergencies.
- Combination of office and field work, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Salary:
Salary ranges based on experience, typically between AED 2500 to AED 4000 per month.Job Type:
