Job Description Qualifications:

Position: In Service Maintenance Advisor Boeing Saudi Arabia is looking for an In Service Maintenance Advisor to be based in Riyadh, KSA. The In Service Maintenance Advisor is responsible for BGS/BSA sustainment efforts in support of planned Joint Ventures (JVs) in the Kingdom. Primary areas of responsibility will be depot Component Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (CMRO) and depot level aircraft maintenance at Boeing affiliated JVs, and CMRO repairs at local Tier I Suppliers in the Kingdom primarily for F-15SA, AH-64D/E Apache, AH-6 Little Bird, CH-47F Chinook, and UH-60 Blackhawk. The selected candidate will work closely with existing JV Management in maintenance execution, planning, and development of effective processes and procedures. The role requires oversight and management of multiple maintenance requirements with a span across multiple business units and business functions in the US. The In Service Maintenance Advisor will also be responsible for providing routine status and metric performance to external customers, internal stakeholders, including BGS/BSA senior leadership. This is a senior level Maintenance Advisor position.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • 10 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
  • Highly experienced in scheduled maintenance, repair and modification, with demonstrable experience of leading teams in an aerospace environment.
  • A good communicator, technical and non-technical, with the ability to effectively engage across multiple functions and levels, both internally and with the customer.
  • Capable of understanding and interpreting Technical Documents, Technical Drawings and/or associated Authorized Technical Publications (ATP’s), to provide guidance to their team/s if necessary.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Typically, 12-16 years or more related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
  • 5+ years of experience in scheduled maintenance, repair and modification, with demonstrable experience of leading teams in an aerospace environment.
  • 5+ years of experience with military safety, certification and qualification processes.
  • 2+ years of experience with external regulatory/airworthiness authorities.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to meet aggressive schedules.
  • Experience leading a large project or program which required the use of project management tools and processes.
