ResponsibilitiesResponsible for accurately forecasting product or material demand and determining the necessary quantities to fulfill that demand.Harness data analysis tools to identify market demand trends, inventory patterns, and evaluate the effectiveness of the supply chain.Regularly assess inventory levels and proactively adapt orders as required to maintain the ideal stock levels.Leverage data analysis tools to uncover demand trends, inventory dynamics, and evaluate the overall performance of the supply chain.SkillsEffective communication skills are necessary to liaise with suppliers, collaborate with various departments, and provide updates on supply chain performance.Proficient analytical skills are crucial for interpreting data, recognizing patterns, and identifying demand trends, inventory levels, and supply chain performance.Profound understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices is necessary, including expertise in inventory management, forecasting, and supplier management.Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for effectively tackling supply chain problems, including delayed deliveries and inventory shortages.
