Manager - Tax
Job details
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement both direct and indirect tax strategies resulting in an optimum tax structure for the business. Develop and implement processes and procedures to assure full tax compliance. Manage the tax preparation and planning process, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings. Developing and leading both tax-savings opportunities and tax solutions by working closely with multiple stakeholders. Ensure administration of tax audits (Corporate, VAT, and other applicable taxes). Work with finance and other cross-functional teams to implement and improve end-to-end tax processes and procedures to mitigate risks. To assist with structuring of transactions pertaining to dividends, thin capitalization, related party relationships. Offer support and guidance for tax compliance matters related to the formation of new legal entities, both domestically within UAE and internationally. Provide subject matter expertise during mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other business consolidation transactions. Provide advice on transfer pricing implications for new business initiatives and international expansions. Perform transfer pricing analysis and reporting and ensure 100% compliance with regulations. Conducting regular internal reviews of transfer pricing policies in accordance with the latest tax regulation developments. Act as the primary point of contact for all tax audits, interaction and responses to tax departments and all other tax matters of the company. Qualifications Requirements: Relevant experience in the field of taxation of 8 - 10 years CA / CFA / CPA certified / MBA Finance Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Detail oriented Develop and manage relationship with tax regulators Knowledge of UAE financial, commercial and Tax laws
