JobDescriptionRequirementsfor position of Ultrasonographer in Dubai FertilityCenterJobTasks:To perform ultrasoundfor all new patients, patients on treatment cycle and patients withearly pregnancy, including but not limited to:Baseline scans for all new patients:Check for size of ovaries, antral follicles, cysts in the ovaries,fibroids in the uterus, any other pelvic mass, 3D scan to checkuterine polyp.Doppler ultrasound for theuterine and ovarian vesselsMonitoring downregulation protocol scansFollicular study:check the size of all follicles, ovaries, endometrium, risk ofhyperstimulationEarly pregnancy scans: checkthe number of sac in uterus, viability of each fetus, ectopicpregnancy, ovarian size, check for anyabnormalities.Assisting the doctor foramniocentesis, and during operativeproceduresAntenatal scans for multiplepregnancies throughout the pregnancy.Providepatient education and explain medical treatment andprocedures.Maintaining the stock for allconsumable items.Responsible for maintenanceof the machine in liaison with thecompany.Maintain statistics for pregnancy& live birth rates.Jobrequirements:QualificationsBachelordegree or Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Sonography (Minimumthree (3) years courseduration)Associate Degree in Sonography(Minimum two (2) years courseduration)AndRegistration/certificationor accreditation asradiographer/SonographerBachelor degree orDiploma from an accredited institution in Radiography /RadiologyTechnology or Medical Imaging (Minimum three (3)years courseduration)AndPostprimary Certificate or Diploma degree (Minimum twelve(12) months course duration) in DiagnosticUltrasoundMinimum of two (2)years' experience post qualification inrelated fieldJobCategoryRadiologyAdvertiserDubaiAcademic Health Corporation (Dubai Health) INT
