About the roleAs part of this role, you will oversee the creation, implementation, and delivery of training materials for the cargo department. Additionally, you will develop specialized training content for dangerous goods, catering to the needs of the entire QR Group in compliance with regulations set forth by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority. Your primary goal is to empower learners with the essential knowledge, behavior, and skills necessary to contribute effectively to the organization's objectives.Key responsibilities

Design, develop and facilitate training programmes assigned by the line manager.

Use best practices and technology to cater to the business learning needs.

Ensure training compliance for staff by facilitating training sessions as per the approved training programme.

Implement effective and efficient learning interventions to make the programmes more business relevant.

Monitor and maintain training records using Learning Management System to ensure training compliance. Ensure training standards as required by Group Learning and Development are maintained forevery learning intervention assigned.

Evaluate, amend and revise training programmes as necessary in conjunction with other team members and line manager.

Keep up-to-date with the operational requirements of QR Cargo and the cargo aviation industry.

Keep up-to-date with dangerous goods requirements applicable for civil air transport across the QR Network.

About you

Command of English language

Must hold Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience

Competency Based Dangerous Goods Certification for Instructors

Professional Skills Certification for an Instructor or equivalent or having facilitated training sessions for at least 3 years

Facilitation Skills — Ability to facilitate learnings in a virtual as well as physical environment

Ability to create effective presentations in MS PowerPoint or equivalent software

Ability to create effective participant and activity guides in MS Word or equivalent

Preferred

Certificate from a Civil Aviation Authority to conduct Dangerous Goods Training

Expertise in special cargo training, live animals, perishables, pharmaceuticals, valuables, etc.

Ability to facilitate learnings in languages other than English Language

Video, creation and editing skills

Skills to create aesthetically pleasing learning tools (infographics, eLearning, etc.)
