The Automotive Technical Specialist is responsible for delivering theoretical and practical training programs to engineering support staff, as well as bespoke training to the corporate clientele. This role requires a hands-on technical approach to learning and development, supporting the Technical Training Manager, and facilitating the development and delivery of bespoke automotive engineering training programs, including IMI International certification.Key Responsibilities:the Fleet team with the day-to-day operational activities.with Business Unit projects.engaging assessments and quizzes to gauge participants' understanding and knowledge retention.Training awareness sessions for Technicians and external customers.and analyze data for operation performance improvement.in review and update policies and Procedures.and deliver technical training on a range of vehicle types.hands-on training sessions, ensuring participants understand the intricacies and functionalities of each vehicle type.multimedia and interactive tools to enhance learning.with the learning and development team to review, design and update training materials, ensuring they are up to date with the latest automotive technologies.up to date with the latest advancements in automotive engineering, including connected technologies, sustainability, green driveline technologies, and alternate fuel systems.technical support to learners, addressing any queries or challenges they face.relationships and strategies with other BU's and departments to understand operation and technical unwanted trends and create bespoke programs accordingly.with external stakeholders, such as vehicle manufacturers and suppliers, for continual professional development and to remain conversant with trends and developments in automotive technologies.Qualificationsdegree in computer science, Information Technology or related fields.of 10 years' experience in automotive engineering, with a focus on Cars, Truck, Bus, and Electric Vehicles.experience in delivering technical training.certifications and practical experience in Automotive Engineering and Technology.to a Professional Automotive Organization or Training Bodypresentation and communication skills.to simplify complex technical concepts for a varied audience.in using modern training tools and software.about continuous learning and development.
