OVERSEAS FAMILY CONTRACT: SENIOR CONSULTANT PHYSICIAN  Estimated Total Monthly Salary 50 000 QR. Basic Salary: The offered amount is the discretion of the employer.  Market Allowance: % of basic salary. Monthly Professional Allowance: % of basic salary. Transport Allowance: 1250 QAR per month. Mobile Allowance : 300 QAR per month.  Accommodation:  Provided. Annual Leave: 50 calendar days per year. Schooling Assistance: 21 000 QAR (maximum) (up to 3 children) per child per academic year up to (ages from 5-18 years and provided that they are studying in private schools in Doha). Payment will be made upon submission of the appropriate receipts and will cover basic tuition fee only (provided that you obtained residence permit for them under your sponsorship). Air Passage Entitlement: Business class air passage/flight ticket for self and family - up to 3 children up to 18 years old, on joining, annual leave & repatriation (provided that he/she obtained residence permit for them under his/her sponsorship). Baggage Allowance : Unaccompanied baggage for yourself - up to 50 kg and family up to 200 kg on joining, and 100kg for self and 250 kg for family on repatriation, to be reimbursed at standard rate.  Conference entitlement:  Yearly Conference (after completion of 18 months in service maximum of 9 days, with free business class round-trip ticket. Canada: RCPSC or CFPC  Denmark: Title of Specialist Finland: Erikoislääkarin tutkinto/ Special läkarexamen. France: CES or DESC or DIS. Germany: Fachärztliche Anerkennung/ Fachärztliche Urkunde  Ireland: Membership/Fellowship of the Royal Colleges and CSCST from Ireland. Italy: A Diploma di (medico) specialista. Kuwait: Arab board for medical specialties and Certificate of completion of residency program from teaching institutions in Kuwait or Board Certification by the Kuwait Board  New Zealand: Fellowship pf the Royal College. Oman: Arab board for medical specialties and Certificate of completion of residency program from teaching institutions in Oman or Omani Board. Saudi-Arabia: Arab Board in KSA or Saudi Board. Singapore: JCST and Certificate of Specialist Accreditation. Switzerland: Diplôme de médecin spécialiste/Diplom als Facharzt/ Diploma di medico specialista (specialist qualification)  or Master of Advanced Studies of Clinical Medicine. Sweden: Title of Specialist. UAE: Arab Board in UAE. UK: Membership/Fellowship of the Royal Colleges + CCST/ CCT/ CESR in UK.  USA: ABMS - American Board MEDICAL LICENSE: You must have a valid primary license from the country of origin AND you should be eligible for license from the licensing authority in the State of Qatar to practice as a Senior Consultant Physician. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Fluent in English.  Specification POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Consultant is the most senior doctor (apart from the Department Chair and/or Section Head) who practices in a specific specialty and has oversight responsibility for his team of Consultants and junior doctors and manages other team members. The Senior Consultant is responsible for the care of all patients admitted under his name and for all the clinical decisions made by other doctors under his supervision. Ability to relate well to others and use interpersonal skills to achieve desired objectives, recognizing the need to represent both the clinical work and the team. In addition to providing high quality patient care (diagnose, treat, manage and admit patients under his name) as delineated by his clinical privileges, the Senior Consultant works closely with department chair and/or section head on management issues (such as service development, funding, budgets, and staffing), on the teaching and training of junior doctors, and on academic and research priorities. In essence, the Senior Consultant is required to have professional clinical competence, leadership and management skills. Research is a key and integral component to the Corporations Strategic aim to become an Academic Health System. The post holder must be able to contribute on delivering on delivering an integrated strategic vision and planning for Clinical, Research, Education and training which improves the quality of patient care.
