  • Overview the contractors’ management of the Operation Control Center (OCC) incl. Traffic control, OCC supervision, train dispatching and control, management of train drivers and train crews, control of infrastructure systems and signaling, incident management
  • Development and execution of knowledge transfer for all train operation related disciplines
  • Manage train schedules, ensuring timely departures and arrivals
  • Supervise the Operations Control Center staff and activities
  • Coordinate with maintenance and infrastructure teams for track availability
  • Monitor train movements and address disruptions promptly
  • Implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures
  • Collaborate with dispatchers and communication teams for real-time updates
  • Analyze operational data to enhance train schedules, performance, and safety
  • Provide support during major incidents or disruptions in train services
  • Report contractors’ compliance with the train operation plans
  • Propose amendments of plans where necessary
  • Report reactions and measures taken by contractors in abnormal operation situations
Qualifications: Project management skills Railway Operation background (passenger highspeed or long distance intercity) Min. academic degree: B.Sc. Engineering Min. 10 years in Rail Industry Min. 10 years in leadership position Min. 5 years in a similar position International experience, preference GCC English (fluent), Arabic (preferred), German (preferred) MS office, MS Project, MS Sharepoint Our offer
