Educational Consultants for ScienceWe are looking to hire the best and talented professionalsCandidates need to provide professional development opportunities advice and support school staff ( principals ,Vice Principals, Subject Co-coordinators and teachers )…Mainly the Educational Consultants will be involved in supporting professionals development opportunities, as well as specific mentoring and coaching opportunities, for Educational Institute staff and, as appropriate, school based staff..Specific Tasks involve :-Support & Monitor the Implementations of Client policies and guidelines in the area of Science teaching in all schoolsUndertake research that identifies the current state of science teaching practice in schools, with the aim of suggesting action plans to address areas of weaknessDevise systems that ensures all schools are carrying out practical / investigations work in the laboratories.Visit schools and gather data on the status of the science laboratories and other facilities.Collect data on how well the science curriculum standards are being implemented and the variety of issues teachers face when teaching scienceProvide advise and guidance on how to improve science training in the Qatari Context ( including the use of English as the language of Instruction )Review the current progrmme of science training for teachers with the Professional development framework.Devise, develop and implement projects that will raise the profile of science teaching - possibly facilitating the involvement of outside companies in collaborative projects with schoolsUndertake projects that encourage more pupils to study science in future.Support and further develop the skills of science coordinators in schools and skills of science specialists working with the Education Institute TeamContribute to the master training programme for school-based staffDevelop and promote strategies for incorporating ICT usage and skills development within the area of the curriculum. Also should be good in Research Skills within this areas of the curriculumHigher level Degree in an Appropriate Subject ( Advance Diploma, Masters Degree, PhD)Qualification in leadership / Management Qualification in designing and delivering professional development packagesExperience as a Classroom Teacher / School Principal / School Advisor / Educational Consultant / School Inspector.Experience of working in an Arabic Speaking Country. Must have done mentoring and coaching professionals. Also should be strong in designing, delivering and evaluation professional development packages for other professionals. Skills - Excellent Interpersonal Skills , Good Communication Skills, Effective Arabic Communication SkillsExcellent Organizational Skills with Presentation skillsExperience of working across all ranges ( KG-12 and post compulsory )Candidate preferred would be from New Zealand, Australia, Canada,Britain,USA,Europe .. Experience of working in an Arabic Speaking Country.
