Job Summary

Baker Hughes is currently seeking an experienced for an exciting Field Specialist role in Qatar. The incumbent will be under direct supervision develop and apply skills required to run applications in the Liner Hanger System and Cased Hole Completions.

Responsibilities

  1. Work within Company HSE and operational policies
  2. Under minimal supervision runs multiple applications of medium / high risk in one or more product lines in the Wellbore Construction and Cased Hole Completions Product Groups.
  3. Continues to expand and apply application knowledge and expertise to include applications of increasing complexity and/or risk in Wellbore Construction and Cased Holes and/or other product groups
  4. Experience with Job procedures, Job Tickets and Field Workbook process.
  5. Provides front-line support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job
  6. Supervisory tools experience, ability to lead and provide technical assistance to Customers & Field Personnel on location.
  7. Handles special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 10-15 years minimum of experience in drilling or completion techniques and drilling / work over rig operations
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Two year Technical Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant operational experience in liner hanger systems
  • Extensive experience in Cased Hole Packers and TRSSV products and technologies
  • Ability to work safe and communicate well with others.

Desired Characteristics

  • Preferred overseas experience with multiple clients
  • BHGE product knowledge would be advantage
