Overview: The IT Network Specialist plays acritical role in maintaining the organizations networkinfrastructure in Qatar. They are responsible for ensuring thestability integrity and efficient operation of the network systemsas well as for providing technical support and guidance to endusers. The IT Network Specialist will collaborate with the IT teamto deliver reliable and secure network connectivity across theorganization ensuring seamless communication and data transfer. Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing implementing and managingnetwork infrastructure and connectivity.
  • Configuring andmaintaining network equipment including routers switches andfirewalls.
  • Monitoring network performance andtroubleshooting issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Implementing and managing network security protocols andsolutions.
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams todefine and execute network infrastructure projects.
  • Providing technical support to end users for network connectivityand related issues.
  • Conducting regular networkassessments and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Participating in the planning and execution of networkrelateddisaster recovery and backup procedures.
  • Managingnetwork documentation and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Staying updated with industry trends and best practicesin network technologies
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology orrelated field.
  • Professional certification in networking(e.g. CCNA CCNP) is preferred.
  • Proven experience indesigning implementing and maintaining network infrastructure.
  • Expertise in network security principles and bestpractices.
  • Proficiency in configuring andtroubleshooting Cisco networking equipment.
  • Handsonexperience in firewall management and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and protocols.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctionalteams.
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmakingskills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonalabilities.
