Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Reports to: Logistics Supervisor Company: Confidential Key Responsibilities : · Supports the department in logistics activities like Invoice generation , costing of logistics cost etc · Support department Business performance reporting for logistics · Support department head in project related activities. · Support department in identifying key parts regulations, Customs requirements for the market (specially African region) and support them · Good Knowledge of Dubai customs portal, import declaration, Tariff codes Mandatory Requirements: Age below 32 years Only 2-4 Years experience in logistics covering Middle East & Africa Good understanding of Dubai Trade portal & Mersal 2 systems Good understanding of customer declarations and tariff classificiation Good understanding of import & export regulations falling under free zones. Good understanding of custom duties and taxes General · Provide recommendations to realize set goals & objectives. · Selfmotivated, flexible, takes initiative, pressure handling capabilities Reporting · Periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) monitoring & reporting of organization’s logistics & customs requirements, new regulations, policy changes etc. & other KPI’s target achievement. KPI’s · Timely updating of reports · Project timelines Background & Qualification · Minimum – Graduate with 2-4 years experience in logistics & Customs business administration or related coordination area. Knowledge English Language, Accounting basics, Communications, Computers skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Education and Training basics. General Skills Active Listening, Time Management, Judgment and Decision Making, Reading Comprehension, Negotiation, Critical Thinking, , Writing, Service Orientation, Quality Control Analysis Job Specific Skills: Knowledge of logistics business , commercial activity mindset , cost reduction and regulation Work Style Dependability, Integrity, Attention to Detail, Self Control, Initiative, Cooperation, Concern for Others, Independence, Stress Tolerance, Analytical Thinking, Social Orientation, Adaptability/Flexibility, Innovation, Persistence Benefits provided for this role.
