Responsibilities This position requires the ability to plan, maintain and analyze production and sales requirements, compare progress to schedule, resolve scheduling conflicts, assess data and coordinate solutions. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Material planning, run MRP, review and process messages, peg inquiries, check supply and demand
  • Day-to-day order management and management of deliveries through product line order book. Understand and manage risks to minimize the impact on production schedule.
  • Product data management, check BOM's, routing, lead times, work centres. Enter / change W/O's, check status, commit dates.
  • Check stock for substitution availability; work with engineering on substitutions.
  • Understand earned value analysis, specifically SPI to schedule jobs effectively on the shop floor through scheduling system.
  • Maintain OTD and exceed global target of 95%.
  • Work closely with purchasing, quality, manufacturing engineers, shop floor and warehouse to execute the daily activities in a flawless manner.
  • Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets and support continuous improvement initiatives and identify areas of improvement.
  • Works assignments carried out to the highest quality level with minimal supervision.
  • Must understand and comply with all quality and safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
  • Other duties assigned by Manager within the physical constraints of the job.
Qualifications
  • College degree in business or a technical discipline.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent understanding of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP).
  • Good communication skills (oral and written). Ability to effectively interface and collaborate with internal and external customers to insure positive results.
  • 3-5 years planning/scheduling experience in an MRP-driven manufacturing environment.
  • Good knowledge of product line and customer expectations.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsft business suite, especially Word and Excel.
  • Succesful completion of one APICS-CPIM module
  • Basics of Supply Chain Management (or equivalent training as deemed by supervisor).
