As a strategic partner for a global Chemical manufacturing company, we have been asked to identify an experienced General Manager for their Dubai location. Our customer is a multi-national manufacturer of Resins and White-Spirits, with entities spanning across 3 continents, and a distribution network that spreads globally. The ideal candidate will have experience managing the daily operation of a business and will be responsible for planning and maintaining systems and procedures for operating efficiency. Responsibilities
- Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff
- Creating and implementing strategies for business growth
- Hiring new staff within a department or business unit
- Ensuring that departments or units deliver quality offerings to clients
- Working closely with account managers and other senior staff to retain clients
- Developing new solutions to meet client needs
- Improving internal processes for better productivity
- Overseeing large projects and interpreting performance reports
- Managing the budget and monitoring the financial health of a location or business unit
- Management and Customer Service experience
- Strong administrative skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead
- Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, P&L
- Bachelor's degree in Chemicals preferred, but Business Management or other related qualifications would also be considered
