Job Description: Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Principal Transport Planner to join our team! What You'll Be Doing:
- Prepare transportation master plans and traffic impact studies for small and large developments including data collection and analysis, and develop and analyze mitigation measures.
- Carry out urban \metropolitan transportation planning and traffic engineering tasks including corridor studies and regional network studies.
- Perform operational analysis using standard packages including SYNCHRO, SIDRA, HCS, and VISSIM.
- Familiarity with travel demand models
- Collaborate with road design and urban planning teams
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 12 years hands-on experience in transportation planning including conduct of transportation impacts studies and transportation master plans
- Experienced in the use of operational and/or travel demand modeling analysis tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Master Degree in related field
- Experience in public transportation and non-motorized transportation planning
