Basic Function: Responsible to plan and execute company’s events and activities primarily within the company, in-Kingdom or out-of- Kingdom. Also, responsible for the planning and logistics of VIP visits and related matters which include handling various delegations from within the Kingdom and around the world. Incumbent is also responsible for managing Company’s social & digital media accounts. Job Scope: Incumbent is an experienced qualified professional with in-depth working knowledge of public relations, events planning and all communications activities. Work is generally not supervised by senior staff. May serve as team leader on small to medium size projects. Principal Duties:

  • Plans and executes corporate events, developing clear and strategic sets of messages, concepts and themes. Manages and overseas scheduling and logistics preparation.
  • Responsible for all project budgets from start to finish; works with management to determine event budget and manage expenses to that budget.
  • Conducts analysis of stories and topics upon request, utilizing available software.
  • Prepares communications briefings, media plan and Q&A documents for top executives (for media visits / media interviews / media meetings).
  • Builds, maintains, and actively manages relationships with local and international print, online and broadcast media in order to build SPARK’s reputation in the media.
  • Develops, produces, and delivers projects from proposal right up to delivery.
  • Delivers events on time, within budget, that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Manages social & digital media news pertaining to Company’s key corporate massaging.
  • Prepares briefing materials.
  • Coordinate media interviews for executives on the sidelines of international events / conferences or at the company’s premises.
  • Provide on-site media relations support for executives at major local and international events / conferences and company events.
  • Handles press releases and communication materials to the local and international media.
  • Handle incoming media inquiries involving proper tracking and logging to ensure the inquiries are attended to in the most expedient manner.
  • Communicates, maintains, and develops client relationships.
  • Copyedits, proofreads, and revises communication messages.
Job Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication/media studies, Public Relations, Advertising, or equivalent is required.
  • A Master’s degree in business majors or equivalent in preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of related experience is required; public relations and communications.
  • Excellent command of oral and written English is required.
