Job details
- Responsible for making technical decisions regarding resolution of interfaces / clashes between disciplines
- Leads the preparation of the Structural Engineering Design for all stages in accordance with the Initial Project Brief and Design Programme
- Manages the preparation of the Structural Engineering Design in order to obtain required building permits
- Leads the technical co-ordination of specialist sub-consultants as necessary, including the GDC / other AECOM offices and external sub-consultants
- Promotes teamwork within a multi-disciplinary team, maintaining positive morale and instilling a creative culture within the project
- Proactively prepares, checks and coordinates project Structural Design models and drawings and ensure they meet Client requirements and Industry Standards and project BIM Execution Plans
- Contribute, from the onset of a project, to the design of innovative and progressive design solutions that reconcile client’s goals and priorities while fostering opportunities for design excellence
- Manage interface between design team ensuring proper design support is provided in a timely manner
